Your case, organized. Free, forever

Every parent who represents themselves gets these free. No card, no trial clock, just your case finally in one place.

Case File

Keep all of your files organized. Your case number, the parties, every filing, order and declaration, in one record the whole app reads from. Register more than one case and switch between them.

Court Dates

Keep all of your court dates organized. Upload the court's own scheduling order and Command reads the hearings and filing cut-offs out of it. Add them to the calendar you already use.

myForms AI

Answer plain-language questions and get the forms your county actually accepts, filled from your case. The right one, for the right court, without guessing.

Control Panel · free

One screen tells you what needs doing, and in what order.

The Control Panel is a set of tiles, one per module. Each one says where that part of your case stands and why it needs you. Click any tile to start working in that module.

CriticalThe only tile that fills. A hearing this week, a deadline tomorrow.
WarningSomething is due and the clock is running.
OfferPurple means a price is on the table, like a strategy call.
OKSettled. It recedes so the colour means something.
  • Setup progress across account, strategy call, case and dates, Command+, drafting and evidence.
  • Case dashboard with the schedule in full, evidence by category, drafts, and every count in one place.
  • Alerts and Tasks carry the same list, so the bell, the panel and our emails never disagree.
Control Panel · the case dashboard, then the schedule in full
CaseMate · with Command+

Ask questions. Draft documents. Communicate better.

CaseMate is the assistant inside Command+. Three doors, one workspace: it answers the question you actually have, builds a motion or declaration in your own words, and rewrites the text that made your stomach drop into the version a judge reads as calm.

  • Every citation is looked up, never recalled. When an answer turns on a rule, CaseMate finds it on the official source, quotes it and links it under the reply.
  • A motion is three documents. Draft builds the motion, your declaration and a proposed order in that order, then a filing checklist for your county.
  • One click to myMotion AI. A finished packet saves for review and export onto your court's paper.
  • Knows when to hand you a person. When guidance turns on your facts, a button under the reply opens Book a Strategy Call.
CaseMate · Communicate, Ask, then Draft
Door 1

Ask Questions

The question you actually have: what to file, what the judge will care about, whether this is worth it.

She pulled the girls out of school without telling me. Is that enough to modify?
On its own, probably not — but with the two missed exchanges it starts to look like the “substantial change” your state requires. Here's what courts there usually want to see, and the statute it comes from…
Plain answers, then the reasoning, then what it means for your facts.
Door 2

Draft Documents

A petition, a declaration, a response, a proposed order, built section by section in your own words.

I need a declaration for the hearing on the 13th.
Let's build it. First: what happened on August 21st, in order, as you'd tell a friend? I'll turn it into numbered paragraphs that stick to facts and flag anything that should be an exhibit instead.
When it's complete, one click saves it to myMotion AI.
Door 3

Communicate Better

Paste the text that made your stomach drop. Get back the version a judge reads as calm.

You NEVER follow the schedule and I'm sick of it.
“Per the parenting plan, I'll pick the girls up Friday at 6 pm at the usual spot. Please confirm.” — Brief, informative, friendly, firm. Nothing in it can be read back to you later.
Every message you send becomes part of the record.
Evidence Lab · with Command+

AI does the hard work. A human verifies it.

A hearing recording, two years of texts, a thousand-page bundle. You describe the job and get a private upload link. AI reads every word and ties each finding to the exact message, page or timestamp. A CourtReady analyst checks the result against your material before it comes back.

  • Quoted from the actual material, never from a guess. Nothing is priced until a person has looked, and nothing runs until you say yes.
  • Exhibit-ready. Every finding carries the message number, page or timestamp it came from, so it can be handed up.
  • Files never move through the app. Each order gets its own private upload link, and working copies are purged after delivery.
Evidence Lab · send it, AI reads it, a human signs it off
1 · SEND IT

Describe the job.

Pick what you have, say roughly how big it is, and what it's about. Staff send a private upload link, read what arrived, and quote you from it. Usually within a day.

2 · AI DOES THE HARD WORK

Every word, end to end.

Transcribing every minute, indexing every exhibit, reading every message for the welfare markers and the conflict pattern. The part no human can do in a week.

3 · A HUMAN VERIFIES IT

Signed off before it reaches you.

An analyst confirms speakers, spot-checks quotes against the source and strikes anything the model got wrong. What you file is what a person stood behind.

What it finds

Patterns a judge can act on, each one tied to its source.

Examples from the kinds of jobs the Lab runs. Names, numbers and quotes are illustrative.

Child welfare markersI'm not sending them back there and you can't make me.Message 4,118 · 11 Aug 2025 · 9:14 pm

A child-focused read of a message history. Four other messages in the thread say the same thing, quoted and dated.

Mental-health indicators

Indicators consistent with four DSM-5-TR criteria across 212 messages, each one quoted and dated.

A criterion-by-criterion screen · never a diagnosis

The language is “indicators consistent with.” What you get is the pattern and the messages behind it, for a professional to weigh.

Coercive & financial controlPay the daycare today or you won't see them this weekend.Message 6,902 · 3 Mar 2026 · 6:40 pm

Money tied to time with the children, six times between March and June. A coercive-control prescreen flags the thread for a closer read.

Substance-use markersHad a few but I'm fine to drive them back.Message 2,417 · 2 Oct 2024 · 7:52 pm

Sent 22 minutes before a scheduled exchange. Every marker is matched to the parenting-plan date it touches.

Conflict patterns & timing

83% of hostile messages land within two hours of an exchange.

Two years · scored by exchange

OurFamilyWizard and TalkingParents exports, and plain text threads, read for who escalates, when, and how often.

Missed exchanges & the scheduleNot coming today, deal with it.Message 5,310 · 14 Sep 2025 · 8:02 am

Each missed exchange matched to the parenting-plan date it broke, so the declaration can cite the day, not the feeling.

Hearing transcripts

A verbatim transcript with speakers identified by role, plus an index of what was said where.

Any length · court audio or video

What the commissioner actually said at 10:42, quoted, so the next motion can build on it.

Body cam, calls & field audio

Noisy real-world audio cleaned up first, then transcribed with timestamps.

Police body cam · jail and phone calls

The exchange at the door, as it happened, with the minute and second it happened.

Exhibit bundles

A thousand-page bundle read end to end, every exhibit located, summarized and tied to its page and stamp number.

Scanned pages included

The other side's binder, indexed, so nothing in it surprises you at the hearing.

Why the human step is the product.

AI is fast. It is also sometimes wrong, and in court that is the difference. Before anything comes back to you, a CourtReady analyst reads the result against your material and signs it off. Speakers confirmed, quotes spot-checked, anything the model got wrong corrected or struck.

★★★★★

"I had a hearing in three weeks and no idea what to file. CourtReady gave me a complete declaration and motion — and told me what NOT to file. I walked in organized and the commissioner could actually follow my timeline."

Protection order proceeding · King County
★★★★★

"I was overwhelmed by a mountain of screenshots I thought were evidence. They helped me understand what actually mattered legally — and what was just noise. That alone changed everything about how I approached the hearing."

Parenting plan modification · Washington State
★★★★★

"Having a one-time attorney show up with me made the other side take it seriously. The filings were already solid — adding the attorney changed the entire dynamic of the room."

Common questions

Frequently asked questions.

If you don't find what you're looking for, visit the Support Center. We respond within one business day.

What's the difference between Command, Command+, and Concierge?

Command is the free app: the Control Panel, Case File, Court Dates and myForms AI, plus the option to book a strategy call. Command+ ($39.95/mo) adds CaseMate, myMotion AI and Evidence Lab. Concierge is the top tier: everything in Command+ plus a senior human team, strategy calls, follow-ups between hearings and appearance attorneys.

What is CaseMate?

CaseMate is the AI assistant inside Command+. It has three doors: Ask explains how the process works and what tends to matter; Draft builds a motion, declaration or proposed order section by section in your own words; Communicate rewrites a message so it reads calm and factual. It never cites a statute from memory. When a rule matters, it looks it up on the official source and links it under the reply. It is an AI, not a lawyer, and it can be wrong, so verify every citation before you rely on it.

How does Evidence Lab work, and what does it cost?

You describe the job inside Command and get a private upload link. Staff read what you sent and quote you from the actual material, usually within a day. Nothing runs until you accept. AI then does the heavy work: transcribing, indexing, reading every message. A CourtReady analyst checks the result against your material before it is delivered. Jobs are quoted individually; the Command+ subscription covers access to the Lab.

Is this legal advice? Are real attorneys involved?

Command helps you appear pro se; you remain self-represented. CaseMate can give general guidance and explain what courts usually weigh, but it is not a lawyer. Concierge adds direct legal strategy consultation from CourtReady's team and, when arranged, single-appearance attorney representation at specific hearings.

Which states is CourtReady available in?

Command and Command+ are live in Washington, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, California, Minnesota, New York, Texas, Florida and Nevada, with more states coming. Concierge availability depends on case type and location.

Can I cancel Command+ anytime?

Yes. Command+ is $39.95/mo, a limited-time launch price, with no contract. Cancel anytime. Your free Command tools stay with you either way.

Prepare like the outcome matters
